Oviraptor had a short head, and deep, short beak worked by powerful jaws. The lower jaw curved up and was shaped to help the animal exert immensely stong crushing forces on the hard foods that it lived on.
Oviraptor had clawed, three-fingered, grasping hands. The first finger bore the largest claw, abot 3 inches long around its outer curve. Each foot had four toes, but only the second, third, and fourth were big enough for use. They bore curved claws, flattened from side to side.

Length: 6 feet.
Time: Late Cretaceous.
Place: Asia (southern Mongolia).
