Andy Taylor, original Guitar Player for Duran Duran, left the band in 1986 to pursue a solo career. After two solo albums "Thunder" and "Dangerous" he decided to stick to playing backup on records for other atrists such as Rod Stuart and Belenda Carlile. He remained in England, living with his wife Tracy and their children. He was interviewed for the "Duran Duran: Behind The Music" Documentary for VH-1 in 1998 and began talking with Nick Rhodes, and the other remaining band members again. This lead to his return to the band, displaceing fill-in guitarist Warren Cuccurullo as the rightful guitarist for Duran Duran, and joining them for the reunion album and tour scheduled for 2002. With Andy's lively spirit and on-the-edge guitar rifs, I'm sure he will be back on top with the band once again! Welcome Back Andy!! We're very very glad to have you back with us!!
