BASKET CASE III: THE PROGENY

Third Basket Case is surprisingly another enjoyable and fun film (if you have a particular sense of humor). In the sequel Duane (Kevin Van Hentenryck) met a human chick and his creature like brother Belial met another monster which it fell in love with. They all hit it off with a room full of monsters led by a kind old lady (Annie Ross).

In this one the whole crew go on a road trip and find trouble in a small narrow minded town. Belial's lover is kidnaped by some townspeople and he has to get her back. Some wild make-up effects work which is more overwhelming than it is gory. I really enjoyed this. The host of monsters look great, almost like the Star Wars Catina scene. A real good time for horror fans.
