BOUND Review On "Violent Maniac's Cage"

When I first started this film I was in the frame of mind that it was going to suck no matter what. I thought it was going to be about the relationship between a couple of lesbians and thats what it basically was. The story has Gina Gershon all finger screwed and tatooed along with bi-sexual Jennifer Tilly whose voice I so much despise getting involved with each other. Both of them make up a plan to screw over Tilly's mafia husband which doesn't go smoothly.

The steamy encounters between Gershon and Tilly are not so steamy and could have been done better (Basic Instinct or Showgirls anyone?). The idea for the film is not too interesting and but there are a few surprises but nothing eye opening. Gershon seems to keep getting her ass kicked throughout the film and Tilly really does all of the important stuff. There's a scene where a guy gets his skull bludgeoned againist a toilet bowl repeatedly, the end execution taking place in pool of white paint is a bit creative. The ending has Tilly and Gershon riding off happily ever after in their red pick-up truck holding hands. Naaaaaaaaa, I can't get into this at all
