FOG, THE
(1980, USA)
DIRECTED BY: John Carpentar.
One of John Carpentars misfires as he tries to cross the supernatural and black beard with Night Of The Living Dead. Carpentars trade mark stars are all here like Adrianne Barbeau, PJ Soles, Jaimie Lee Curtis and Charles Cyphers.
A small town is engulfed by a thick fog which brings an old pirate ship. The corpses of the pirates float around in the fog claiming victims with their sharp hooks and swords. This film from Carpentar is mediocre at best and it just doesn't work. No impressive music or terrifying scares just a regular horror film undistinguishable from the pack.
