GUINEA PIG: MERMAID IN THE MANHOLE
(Japan)
I must state that this is the grossest film I have ever seen. Sure it's not as brutal as the first two but it's sicker in a different kind of way. Again like all the Guinea Pigs there is no translation to the language so all that remains is what you see happening on the screen.
An artist who is obviously frustrated with his work goes down into the sewers for some reason unbeknownst to me and discovers a mermaid there. He takes her home. He gets a bathtub which he puts her in. She quickly starts to develop these big sores on her lower torso which look disgusting to say the least. Soon her whole body is being consumed by this infection and in close up we see the blisters, boils and sores burst open and leak fluid.
The artist cuts some of her wounds to get fluid for his paintings so he leaves jars for the slime to drip in. Soon she (the mermaid) is covered completely in sores and in close up detail we see worms starting to crawl in them. The mermaid's wounds start to get infested by worms and they begin falling out of the wounds. The artist hauls out a couple in close up and more start squirting out.
Soon the mermaid heaves up loads of worms and her guts eventually fall out of her stomach in a nice neat pile. The artist goes crazy and hacks her up into bloody chunks after completing his masterpiece. Everything in this is shown in close up and nothing is spared. I watched this with Violent Maniac of Violent Maniacs Cage while we ate homemade macaroni and cheese. Mmmmmmmmmmm good! I can't recommend this but if your into these films you shouldn't be without this one. The most vile effects work I have ever seen, stuff Tom Savini couldn't pull off if he tried.
