LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE

ALSO KNOWN AS: Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue.

A British zombie film which proves only Italians and Americans should stick to the zombie film making. The movie moves very slowly and the idea is less than interesting. Its not that the acting is bad or the budget is bargain basement but the story moves along at a snails pace and the zombies look unconvincing. Something which is strange since the make-up is done by usual Italian effects master Gianetto De Rossi.

The only gore is your usual gut munching until the conclusion which involves an axe, zombies and a hospital. The ending seemed to be pretty interesting like Romero's thought provoking walking dead movies but soon it turns cheese ball and unbelievable. Mediocre zombie fare, you know the saying, if you've seen one you've seen them all.
