Maniac director Lustig delivers this watchable thriller about a deformed cop on a rampage. Bruce Campbell becomes the scape-goat cop for the murders and has to prove himself innocent.

As the story goes, the Maniac Cop once was an honest police officer who was wrongly thrown in prison where he had his face sliced and diced. The ending leaves room for a sequel. Film is nothing special but Campbell fans should definitely see it.
