Ambitious and very violent crime drama stars Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis as two Bonnie and Clyde types known as Mickey and Mallory. The two are immortalized as star serial killers and young folks basically think they're cool. The film makes a lot of statements, a lot which I felt were true but I'm just a paranoid bastard myself. It poked a lot of fun at the media and the crime situation of today. What I didn't like about it was that it overloaded you with a lot of crap and fancy camera styles along with bizarre meaningful messages. The messages really bogged you down instead of informing you about what it meant.

Most people would say I don't care about that shite I just want the violence. There's lots of violence to keep the sicko crowd pleased but even they might find themselves bored in some places. Very unpleasant film which gives us a view of the world, tell'in us we're screwed in a big way if we keep going at this rate. The jail scenes are superb and definetly the high point of the film. Probably a great film to watch drunk or stoned. Tommy Lee Jones definetly has the best role in this as the prison warden.
