Enjoyable gags and gore tale about a young mortician's assistant (Scott Grimes) who is an outcast, unpopular, nerd type kind of guy. A group of thugs who regularly give him a hard time end up meeting a most unfortunate demise. Thanks to the cliche ridden but effective bolt of lightening they rise from the dead for some gory action. Grimes is left to deal with the threat. Fans of Re-animator will get a kick out of this with its gross black humor.
