5000 years ago, evil demons inhabited Mariner Bay. A warlock was able to imprison them in a tomb where they remained until now. Three travellers in a desert stumbled upon the tomb and opened it, releasing the evil demons again. Now the demons have returned to Mariner Bay, which was their original sacred grounds. Diabolico and his crew now want to destroy the city and reclaim their grounds. Being told the Demons escaped, Captian William Mitchell recruted five teenagers to become Power Rangers and defend Mariner Bay. Armed with awesome weapons and Zords, the new Lightspeed Rangers will have to give there all if they want to defeat these evil villains.
