because I liked it but didn't love it.
I did find the father daughter relationship (between Buffy and Giles) incredibly sweet and the last scene where Giles saves her left me speechless.
Seeing Buffy helpless was a change of pace I found the big blue gem and the drugs not very inventive though hence the not loving it part.
The idea of a slayer's right of passage is a good idea but why the age 18 it is a old ritual and I'm assuming before 18 was considered a legal adult so why 18.
But I loved Angel in this episode he was very sweet to give her that book (that she dropped while running away mind you) and he was understanding when she wasn't to excited.
