On the boat they eloped on, this story starts before they dance, twirl, kiss:

They were sitting on the bench, talking.

ANYA: "Will you always stay with me?"

DIMITRI: "Of course, definetly. I do not wanna be without you, never again. (smiling) There's just something about you..." She smiled, stroking his already fine tousled hair. It wasn't that she doubted him---she had absolutely no reason to---but there was nothing wrong with a reminding re-assurance. They held hands.

ANYA: "Don't worry... I love you more than the whole world itself. I'll do anything to stay together. And we've been through so much, so far. The bad stuff I don't want to remember, but still, it's amazing. What I mean is, as long as we're 'us', we can face anything."

DIMITRI: "Well, I understand, and you know... (he stood up, leading her out to dance, and she smiled warmly, as they bowed to each other) You're the bravest of hearts, you're the strongest of souls-" She got the hint and sang with him.

A: "You're my light in the dark, you're the place I call home. You can say it's all right, but I know that you were breaking up inside." They danced!

D: "I see it in your eyes, even you faced the night afraid and alone. That's why I'll be there."

A: "When the storm rises up, when the shadows descend-"

D: "Every beat of my heart, every day without end!"

A: "Every second I live, that's the promise I make!"

D: "Baby, that's what I'll give, if that's what it takes..."

A: "If that's what it takes, if that's what it takes..."

Dancing closer together, he cradled her.

D: "You can sleep in my arms, you don't have to explain." She caressed his face.

A: "When your heart's crying out, baby, whisper my name!"

D: "'Cuz I've reached out for you when the thunder was crashing up above!" He pointed toward the sky.

A: "You've given me your love...when you smile like the sun, that shines through the pain. That's why I'll be there."

D: "If that's what it takes..." And she slowed her voice down.

A: "Yes, if that's what it takes...for sure!" Staring deep into each other's eyes, they then shared a kiss even more deeper and passionate. This was truly, definetly, TRUE LOVE!

What a happy ending! No, in Marie's words, "A Perfect Beginning"! Watching from the stairs, a shy Pooka got embarrassed for looking, and covered his eyes with his big floppy ears, though even then, he couldn't help peeking.

After the kiss, the two slowly pulled apart, but Dimitri quickly surprised Anya by picking her up and swinging her around. She laughed joyously. Now, they could start their new life together...
