Tickets to the Premiere of Gone With The Wind, held at the Loew's Grand Theater in Atlanta on December 15, 1939, sold for $10 each. A total of 2,051 people attended the gala, including Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, the Mayor, the Governor and a handful of Civil War Veterans.
