We met in Ottawa, Canada, while Keith was working as a Military Police Officer and Michelle was working as a Cashier at the Canex Express Mart.

I was going through a divorce when I met Michelle.  It took a close friend to talk me into asking her out.  Being the shy person I am I couldn't do it face to face so I decided to write her a note.  It turned out to be a 9 page letter.  The next night when I went to work, a friend told me that I had mail waiting at the office.  I rushed over there and was pleased to discover that Michelle had agreed to go out with me.  I was on cloud 9 the rest of the night.  We have been together ever since.  She is the love of my life.

I wasn't sure who he was when I got his letter, but he sounded really nice , so I figured I'd give him a chance 
and go out on a date with him. I'm really glad I did. A year after his divorce became final, he asked to marry him.
We've had alot of ups and downs in the last 4 years, but we've gotten through them together, and we'll probably go through a lot more as we share the rest of our lives together.
