hello ppl
it's october! still bangkok is hot and raining. i just got back from korea a few days ago after one month stay.
i left for korea on september 3rd with Nichkhun's family. Nichkhun is now a member of group, 2PM. 2PM is boyband consists of seven lads, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Chansung, Jaebum, Junsu, Junho and Wooyeong, under the JYP Entertainment, same record company as Hallyu star, Rain. now Rain sets up his own company, though. 2PM just released their first single in early september. the debut on stage, 10 Points, was on september 4th at m-countdown music program, mnet tv. and Nichkhun is the first foreigner allowed to perform on this stage along with korean artists.
Nichkhun, though he holds US nationality since he was born in the states, he is thai. he studied in thailand when he was young, then back to the states to finish his highschool. he went to Seotaeji concert in states where the agency offered him the opportunity to enter this showbiz. after finish school, he moved to korea and joined the process of becoming artist of JYP Ent. a year later, he released his works in thailand as model for tv commercials, magazine, etc. and representatives for some products such as icecream and soft drinks. now, Nichkhun is the artist. besides being singer, he is emcee of two korean tv programs.
back to my story, i tagged along with his family members to korea. being part of family, i got such unforgetable experinces. i could enter the backstage, the waiting room where all artists take their rest. i got to see the work, the professional work of big korean broadcast companies as mnet, mbc, sbs and kbs. though it was only music program section that i had a chance to witness, they are so professional in their works. the security is the top most importance. my job is to tell story about Nichkhun as artist to all his fans in thailand. i took very few pictures and shot video. we, the visitors, are not allowed to take pictures nor video at backstage, so only i could do was to capture with my eyes and imprint into the heart!
though it's only four days, it worths. i must say 'thank you' to Nichkhun mother million times for having me along. i got to eat luxarious cousine and travel with most comfortable transportations. ^_^ moreover, i think i got bonus. it gave me chance to see my favorite artists so close that i couldn't think i would have this chance in thailand. 'thank you, khun's mother'
well, then the rest of the month i traveled around Seoul. not as many places as i had planed. the limited budget stopped me to do so. i re-visited those places i went last time in the year 2006. some changes, some don't. and visited those that i had never been. two favorites places of mine are cheonggyecheon, the former river, and han kang, the present river. they are so precious, so beautiful. i also like namsan seoul tower. the weather is so fine and the view is spectacular. i planed to arrive the places around five or six in the evening. sunlight is fading, artificial lights are turned on, very beautiful, really.
and now i'm back to bangkok, it's been a month away from home. i missed bangkok, and mostly fruits! and my life is back to normal. i'm waiting for new opportunity, looking forward to my next trip. money matters!!!!!
