The Ubosoth (Chapel) was built in 1783 in order to house the Emerald Buddha. The pediment was carved into Phra Narai (Vishnu) on Garuda (half bird-half man), the latter holding the tail of Naga (mythical serpent). Surrounded the Ubosoth, there's wall topped by double Sema stones that inside the area is for the ordination. (2001)

พระอุโบสถ สร้างเมื่อพ.ศ.2327 เพื่อใช้เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระแก้วมรกต หน้าบันสลักเป็นรูปพระนารายณ์ทรงครุฑยุดนาค รอบพระอุโบสถมีใบเสมาคู่ หมายถึงวัดหลวง และอาณาบริเวณภายในที่รอบไว้นั้นใช้เป็นสถานที่บวชพระสงฆ์
