Donna Lewis Online

These questions were asked by me on America Online in the "Electra" forum.

Question:What would you say three years ago if someone told you you would have a double
platinum album, and be dueting w/ Richard Marx for a major motion picture theme-song?

Anwser:Growing up I had a dream I would do something with my life in music
I wanted to be successful as a musician.

Question:"The Macarena" was the only thing keeping "I Love You..." out of #1. In PEOPLE you said you never danced it. Have you yet?

Anwser:I'm sorry, but, no.

Question:"Lights Of Life" is about an alien abduction right(my ex-friend gets creeped out by it). Do you believe in aliens, or even abductions?

Anwser:I believe in aliens! I think it's quite fascinating!
(It turns out later she anwsered another question that "Lights Of Life" was about a plane crash in Paris. I guess my theory was wrong. But it still scares my ex-friend.)

Question:Who was "Silent World" about?

Anwser: It wasn't about one particular person. There were a couple of people who died and it came out of nowhere really.

Question:Are having any people guest star on your new album(i.e. Stevie Nicks)? That would be so cool.
Anwser:Davie Sanchez who played with Sting. Paul Buchanan from the Blue Nile. Not Stevie Nicks yet

Question:Will the next album be similiar to "Now In A Minute" or a complete new sound?

Anwser:A little different. I write catchy melodies. You'll hear the same Donna Lewis vocals, less experimentals.
(I think this means they'll be more "I Love You's...", and less "Simone"'s. Thats fine, I love all her songs!)
