On her self-produced follow up to 1996's platinum debut(which unleashed the megahit, "I Love You Always Forever") breathy-voiced Lewis achieves more than just brain-grabbin' pop. Sure, hook-happy tunes such as "I Could Be The One" and "Love Him"(think Ricki Lee Jones groovin' on the dance floor) are radio ready. But when Lewis weds her pop sensibilities to ambient-lite soundscapes, the effect is suprisingly touching. B
