Gillian Anderson started her career as an actress as a member of a amateur
actor group, as she went to highschool. Because she loved the theatre, she
went to the national theatre of Great Britain at the Cornell University of
Ithaca, in New York. Afterwards Anderson left for the Goodman Theatre School
of the DePaul University in Chicago, where she finished her education with
getting a diploma...
Her film career started with the movie "Home Fires Burning" in 1992, then she
was ordered to do the X-Files (with David Duchovny) as Dana Scully. There
she met her now husband (Clyde Klotz), the marriage was in 1994, exactly at
the first of january... Just one month later, Gillian was already pregnant,
which was a surprise to both of her and the producer.
Piper Anderson, her little daughter came to the world at the 25. September
in 1994, with a Caesarean section, cause Piper failed to get out on the own.
The series is at the moment one of the famoust television series in the USA
and it is supposed to get several more seasons after the third one, which is
in production at the moment... For her work at The X-Files Anderson also got
the Golden Globe.
