MONICA: My mothers right. Im never gonna get married.
CHANDLER: You know what? That iswho wouldnt want you?
MONICA: PleaseIm a single mom with a 30-year-old son.
CHANDLER (rubbing her shoulders): Listen. That guy was out of his
mind. You are beautiful. And you definitely dont look like Ross
mother.
MONICA (groaning): Its not just that, itsRoss is getting
marriedagain. My mother wont get off my caseas usual, and--god, I
justoh, forget it. Im such a loser.
CHANDLER: Hey. You are looking at the *king* of losers, alright? You
are not a loser. Believe me. I recognize my people when I see them,
and
you are not one of us.
CHANDLER: You want to get out of here? Go for a walk?
MONICA: Yeah, okay.
MRS. GELLER: Oh, Monica, Ive been meaning to ask you, have you
tried on your bridesmaids dress yet? Just to be sure, you knowit
looks as if youve put on a couple of pounds.
MONICA (suddenly): What did I do? Why does she always do that to
me? I justIm so tired of it.
CHANDLER: You didnt do anything. Your mother probably just has
issues with her own mother that cause her to be overly critical towards
you.
MONICA (dryly): When did you become so insightful?
CHANDLER: Im not. I guessed.
CHANDLER: Listen, Mon
MONICA: You know what, Chandler? I dont really want to talk about it
anymore. Lets just walk, okay?
CHANDLER: Actually, I was going to ask if you wanted to go up to my
room and veg out in front of the TV.
MONICA: Alright. That sounds good too.
CHANDLER: Okay.
MONICA: Whats wrong?
CHANDLER: Nothing, I just
MONICA: What?
CHANDLER: Are you sure youre alright?
MONICA: Ill be fine. Its just been a long, depressing, very
frustrating
day.
CHANDLER (nods understandingly): Ive had a few of those.
MONICA: Yeah.
