Yup, that's right! CL has released Creatures 3 in the US and your truly already has her copy. I've got seven norns so far, six first gen (3 male, 3 feamle) and one second gen and they are up for d/l further down in the page. (please pardon my typos, this page was done quickly)

The first new breed is called the Bruin acording to CL and are close in apperence to the type J norns from C2.

The second new breed is called the Bengal and they look like little tigers.

The third new breed is called the Civit and (in my opinion) resemble cows :)

The Grendels are mean! They get angry! They attack norns and ettins! Yay! These two showen here are in the airlock which can be found under the medical bay. Wonderful place to put them because they can't get out :)

This is a C3 ettin.... or as I have come to call them... bubble butts :)

Here we have two baby norns (Flumini and Sora) in the learning room.

One last screenshot: This is the hatchery while hatching an egg. in the corner is one of the many new critters in C3, a grazer. The cheese dispensor can be seen in the corner.
Download the first pack of norns from my C3 world, Terra Astrae.
Download the first pack of colored grendels and ettins that I've edited. They have altered pigments that *should* stay their entire life with only a little bit of change. There are six ettins in the ettin pack (3 males, 3 females) and five grendels in the grendel pack (2 male, 3 females).
Tips
Ok, this is a little bit of knowlage I've picked up so far and I assur you it will be deleted as C3 spreads and more information comes up.
- While C3 doesn't let you see through the eyes of a creature, you can tell what they are looking at when you see a little green arrow floating above and object.
- C3 does not limit the scrolling in a world. You can export each of your norns and still explore. I sugest looking around the parts of the spaceship before taking your norns exploring. this way you can get a good idea of what is where (such as power-ups) and acumulate the "fav places" icons. Also useing the "agent help mode" on most everything will help you figure out what animal, plant, tool, and gadget does what.
- The ettin/grendel selector is one of th most usfull power-ups in the game. It can't be found next to the teleporter in the jungle Terrarium. The easiest way to get it is to do as follows:
1. Turn the teleporters in the norn and jungle terrariums on by pushing the red button (they don't work untill you've turned on at least two).
2. Choose a norn that has been tought by the learning machine and teach it what a tool is (use agent help mode and click on a power-up to teach the norn untill it is saying "tool" correctly).
3. Take it to the teleporter in the norn terrarium and push the green button to arive in the jungle terrarium.
4. Tell your norn to "push tool". The norn should do as it's told, but you may need to lead them back to the teleporter every now and then.
5. Teleport your norn back to the Norn terrarium after it has activated the power-up.
- The Grendels are Mean. They can get out of anyplace you put them, 'cept for the medical scanner and the airlock. I sugest finding the ettin/grendel selector, leading them to the airlock, and locking them in. Don't space them, because two new grendel will hatch in the jungle terrarium anyway and you'll have to do it over again. If you wish to be kind to them, leavesome cheese in there everyonce in a while. A cheese dispensor can be found on the bridge.
more to come soon!
