This video presents a very interesting remix of Anytime You Need A Friend. It's set on the streets of New York's neighbourhood and inside of some house. The video is obviously refering to Mariah's childhood, when she moved around the streets of NY with her mother and that's probably the reason why it is filmed in black&white.
Mariah is wearing a short skirt, white top and a leather jacket. She is singing on the streets, where she is surrounded by hip-hop dancers and inside the house by her friends (her background singers). She is singing, walking around, eating chips,... There are some great shoots of Mariah's face and behind her cities skyline. The video looks like a dedication to Mariah's friends, who stood her by on her path to the stars.
