I'll Be There was taken from Mariah's life performance at MTV Unplugged show from 1992. Mariah is dressed in black and in the background there are singers and musicians. The song I'll Be There was for the first time performed by Jackson Five and Mariah actually decided for that song two nights before performance. She sang it even better than the Jacksons, featuring Trey Lorenz as co-singer, backed up with Walter Afansieff on the piano. The song was a great success and it's still very popular on the radio. I'll Be There has hit number 1 of Hot 100 on June 25 1992. This was also a begining of Mariah's cooperation with Trey.
