Interesting thing about the music video for Boy (I Need You) is that some of the material filmed was originally intended for the release of Mariah's song The One. Later the single release was changed and so was the video. The video was recorded in Japan. It has a futuristic theme where Mariah can be seen driving a space-like race car. She's competing against her "dark" double.
