Breakdown is Mariah's fourth video from the new album Butterfly. It came out on December 16, that's only three months after the album release. Go Mariah!
The video starts with the opening shot of Mariah lying on the table. She is surronded by some singers. The video is set in some big casino. Later Mariah is singing and dancing, like some bar-singer, on the red stage. She looks pretty professional. Everything seems like some entertainment show from the 30's. Mariah is wearing a short black dress and she's wearing her hair in a bun. She is dancing along with two other dancers. Later she sits on the chair and we can see a small butterfly tatooed on right side of her back (cute). Some scenes show Mariah with her hair dropped, wearing a short light grey dress. In the video there are also guest rappers Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone singing in white clothes and cuts from some other dance performance.
The video looks nice and it has some pretty great ideas that make it unique. Maybe it seems a little provocative, because we don't get to see Mariah dancing every day, but it's very mild...
