Mel Brooks spoof Frank Capra? That's exactly what he does in this movie about a wealthy tycoon who makes a bet that he can last a month in the streets without any money. The result is an extremely funny movie, with equal parts humor and sentiment. In fact, it could be Brooks' most sentimental movie. 3 out of 4.
