There are three simple steps to the joining process. But, before we get into them I will make a few short statements. Chances are your site will get in, no problem, as long as your site contains at least three mel brooks pics, mel brooks sounds, y'know mel brooks crap. I'm not picky and we'd love to have you.
1. Click here to submit your site to the Webring Queue. It's not as technical as it sounds. If I could figure it out you surely can. Just click there and fill out the real easy form; easy as can be. You will be given a site ID number, so write it down, you don't wanna forget it. Then hit the back button on your browser and proceed to step #2.
2.Now comes the hardest part, which deals with html. Don't you hate it. Well, you take your pick of two little html codes. One is Java and one is regular. Java's cooler, but might give you more crap than the other. For Java code click here or for the Regular click here. After picking your favorite and after highlighting it, copy it. Paste it onto the bottom of your website's html. Then fill in your ID number where it's called for in the code. It'll say "Site_Id_Here" so you just replace that with your number, so it'll look like this "3" (Note: 3's just an example). It'll also have spaces for your name and stuff, fill them in, too. After that you're done...with step 2. (If you don't understand a bit of this, drop me a line. I'll be happy to help you, and don't feel stupid for asking. ( I didn't know what a URL was until a week ago.)
3.This is the easiest part. Y'know the picture at the top of the main page that says the Mel Brooks Webring on it? Well go and download that and add it to your website's files. It's required for the little jumper thing.
Then you just send me a little email saying that you've entered your site for approval, and I'll approve it. And that's that.
