A long time ago there was a side of Angel that would bring terror into anybody. His name at this time was Angelus. One day he came upon an ancient Mayan group. He made the leader’s daughter a vampire. The leader was so mad that he cursed Angelus with having his soul back. Then the leader drove a stake through his daughters dead heart and she turned into a pile of dust. Angelus was no more, he was now known as Angel. Angel felt so awful about all the things he did, so he left and went to Sunnydale. There he stayed locked up in his apartment drinking blood that he had taken from hospitals. Then one day everything changed for him. That was the day he met the slayer, but now he was Angelus once again.
Ms. Calender a teacher at Sunnydale High was sent in secret by the current Mayan group to enforce the curse. For nobody knew, but her and the Mayan group what would happen if the curse was broke. They knew if Angel had one moment of happiness, that his soul would die. Ms. Calender tried to stop that from happening, but failed. Buffy had given Angel the one moment of happiness. Now he was a bloodsucking vampire who hated the slayer. Buffy vowed to find a way to save her Angel.
She now sat on her bed curled up in a ball and a single tear ran down her face. She wished more than anything that Angel's soul was back. Then her alarm started going off and she quickly turned it off. Then she slowly got out of bed and got ready for school.
Meanwhile at Spike's lair Dru and Angelus were plotting something. "Kitten I've got an idea," said Spike.
"What is it my love?" asked Dru.
"Why don't we kidnap one of the slayer's little friends," said Spike.
"Spike, Spike, Spike when are you ever going to learn that I've already got a plan," said Angelus.
"Well what is it?" asked Spike.
"What if I sneak up on her while she's out on patrol and pretend I'm her Angel, then move in for the kill?" asked Angelus.
"Brilliant my love," said Dru.
"Since when is he your love?" asked Spike.
"I was just kidding," said Dru. But Spike didn't see the look Angelus gave Dru.
The school day had gone utterly slowly for Buffy, but at least she didn't have any homework for once. She had met Giles early this morning and he had told her to patrol the area just in case, but first Buffy was meeting Xander and Willow at the Bronze. She hadn't been there since Angel became Angelus. She hoped that the evil Angelus wouldn't be there, because she didn't know if she could handle it.
She walked home and sat on her bed. Her eyes fell upon the ring Angel had given her. The symbol of their love. She was about to put it back on, but knew she couldn't at least not yet. She went to the place that she left his coat and cradled it in her arms and wept.
Then she looked at her clock and realized that time had flew by and it was time for her to get ready to go to the bronze. She found a black mini skirt and a white baby tee and put the jacket over it. Then she went in her bathroom and fixed herself up. A few minutes later she walked down the stairs. Her mom wasn't home so she left a note.
Dear mom,
I went to the Bronze and I'll be home by midnight.
Love Buffy
Then she started walking in the direction of the Bronze. Then her slayer senses kicked in and she sensed a vampire. "Do you guys ever give up?" asked Buffy. Then a group of twenty or more vampires stepped out from an alley.
"Time to die slayer," said a big ugly vampire.
"Hmmm, I'll make sure to visit your funeral," said Buffy.
Then she grabbed the stake she had brought and kicked the nearest vampire and slammed it in his chest. Then all the vampires joined in on the fight. Then all of a sudden Buffy was knocked to the ground. One of them moved in for the kill, but stopped and turned into dust. Behind him stood Angleus. He helped Buffy up and told her to run.
Was she seeing things or did Angelus just save her? She ran with Angelus by her and he told her to head for the Bronze. So they did and once inside Angelus led her to an area where they could talk in private.
"Buffy Its me Angel," said Angelus.
"But, but your soul died," said Buffy.
"It came back, listen lets go back to my place and I'll explain everything," said Angelus.
"Oh, Ok," said Buffy. Then the two left the Bronze.
"Oh my gosh," said Xander.
"What?" asked Willow.
"Buffy just left with Angelus," said Xander.
"What!?" said Willow.
"Will stay here I'm going to follow them," said Xander.
"Xander I'm coming with you," said Willow.
"Fine, but lets hurry up and go," said Xander.
Angel and Buffy arrived at Angel's apartment and Angel told her everything. He had somehow found away back to her and the demon inside of him was permanently locked away. Angel swept Buffy into a hug and she had her head on his shoulder crying.
"Shhhh Buffy I'm here," said Angelus. Then Angelus looked at Buffy and then he kissed her. Buffy had her eyes closed so she didn't see his game face on. Then all of a sudden he grabbed her throat and started to strangle her. She opened her eyes and realized it was Angelus. Her eyes pleaded with his as if searching for Angel's soul. "Poor Buffy, you trusted me and I betrayed you," said Angelus. "Oh well," he said and laughed. She was quickly loosing consciousness. Then with the little strength she had left she kicked him with full force. They both fell to the ground and she quickly scrambled to the door.
"Buffy, you can't escape me," Angelus said. But she was already out the door running at full speed. He quickly recovered and ran after her. She ran blindly through the night sobbing.
Meanwhile Willow and Xander walked in the direction of Angels apartment. Then all of a sudden Xander saw Buffy running towards them and she didn't seem to see them. Then she ran right into Xander. He put his arms around her protectively and she tried to get away. "Shhhh Buffy its Xander," said Xander. She then realized that it was Xander and Willow was there too.
"Xander?Willow?," said Buffy.
"Yeah Buffy were here," said Xander.
"Buffy what happened?" asked Willow.
"Angelus," she said trying to catch her breath.
"What about him?" asked Xander.
"He.....," said Buffy, but never finishing her sentence. "Xander, Willow Run!!!!!" said Buffy. Xander and Willow saw a pack of vampires approaching fast lead by Dru and Angelus. "I will take care of them, now run!" said Buffy.
"We wont leave you, you’re too weak!" said Willow. But then all of a sudden another pack of vampires approached. Before they knew it they were surrounded.
"So Buffy how did you like my little surprise," asked Angelus. Then all of a sudden three vampires captured Willow and Xander. "Bring Willow to me," Angelus said.
"No!" said Buffy. Then the vampires knocked Xander out and started to bring Willow to Angelus. Buffy was still very weak, but managed to kick Angelus. He tackled her then slammed his fist in her face. Buffy heard Willow scream, then everything went dark.
Buffy awoke to find she was in something small and dark. Then she had realized what she was in, a coffin! Then in her mind she remembered what happened. Angelus's fist slamming into her and Willow screaming. She tried to break the lid open, but it wouldn't budge. All she could do was hope that somebody would find her. She hoped that Willow and Xander were all right.
Xander awoke to find himself lying on his bed. How did I get here, he wondered. Then he saw a note on his night stand.
Hi Looser,
Yep its me Angelus. Probably wondering where Buffy and Willow are. Well Buffy is off dying somewhere and Willow is here with me. Fine I'll give you a clue where Buffy is, She's where the dead sleep. Although by the time you find her she'll have run out of air. Give her my love if she's still alive. Don't worry about Willow. You'll find out what happened to her soon enough.
Angelus
Xander flung the letter down on the floor. Then he ran out of his house towards the cemetery. When he arrived he started searching the tombstones, desperately trying to find Buffy in time.
Willow woke up and immediately remembered what happened after Angelus slammed his fist into Buffy's face. She had been dragged over to him. He had slammed his fist in her face knocking her out.
Angelus saw that Willow was awake and went over to her. "Hello Willow," said Angelus.
"Where is Buffy and Xander," asked Willow.
"Buffy is buried alive and Xander is at home asleep," said Angelus. "As for you my dear, I want to hear you scream as a drain the life from you," said Angelus.
"You wont get the satisfaction," said Willow.
"Well Willow your about to become a member of my undead family," said Angelus. "I want you to deliver Buffy a message when she comes to save you if she makes it," said Angelus. "Tell her Angel sends his love," said Angelus.
Then he sank his teeth into her neck and she screamed out in pain. Then he sliced his wrist and told her to drink. She had no choice so she gave into the urges and so she became a vampire without a soul. "Willow I've decided that instead of you delivering the message to Buffy, you can be my queen I've decided to take the masters throne," said Angelus.
"Hmmm I would love to be your queen," said Willow. Angelus wicked laughter shook the halls as he lead his queen away.
Buffy was rapidly loosing air and if someone didn't save her soon, she would be dead. She hoped Willow and Xander were okay, but knowing Angelus that wasn't the truth. Then before she knew it, she was gasping for air and passed out.
Xander was terribly worried about Willow. He hoped his best friend and Buffy where all right. Xander quickly searched gravestones and finally came upon a gravestone that said,
Xander quickly got a shovel that was near the gravestone and began digging. Finally his shovel hit something solid. It was a coffin with most likely Buffy in it. He quickly opened the lid and found Buffy. He gently lifted her out and laid her on the ground. He then checked for breath or a pulse, there was neither. He began CPR and she started coughing and woke up.
"Xander?" asked Buffy.
"Yeah its me," said Xander.
"Where is Willow?" asked Buffy.
"Angelus took her," said Xander. Buffy quickly got up and started walking towards the library. "Buffy you should rest," said Xander.
"I will not! Not when Willow is with Angelus," said Buffy.
"Buffy I woke up in my house with a note from Angelus saying we would know soon enough the fate of Willow," said Xander.
"I'm not going to sit around, I think we should head towards the Bronze and see what we can find out," said Buffy.
"Ok, I wont argue with you," said Xander. They quickly made there way to the Bronze.
Meanwhile Willow, Angelus, Spike, Drusilla, and many other vampires had captured the Annoying one.
Earlier Drusilla had decided to stay with Spike, because Angelus now had Willow. Angelus took over as the vampire king with Willow by his side. Angelus wanted to have three vampire warriors to be at his side, so he decided that Spike and Drusilla would be two out of the three. Then he got an idea, which made him form an evil smile. "Spike and Drusilla come here," said Angelus.
"Yes Angelus?" asked Spike.
"I want you, Drusilla, and Willow to each drink the Annoying ones blood," said Angelus. "Then you will gain power to become my three warrior vampires," said Angelus.
Spike, Drusilla, and Willow grinned evilly. They went to the Annoying one and each drank an equal portion of his blood and he was killed. "Now you three come here, its time to start your training.
"Xander I can't believe that Angelus hasn't shown his face yet!" said Buffy. "We need to talk to Giles pronto!" said Buffy. They went in the direction of the library. They arrived at the library.
"Giles," said Buffy.
"Buffy? Oh my what happened to you?" asked Giles.
"Hmmm, lets see I got ambushed by vampires, Angelus saved me, He tricked me, I ran into Xander, Willow and both of us got ambushed, I got buried alive, Xander got thrown in his room, Willow was kidnapped by Angelus, and Xander saved me," said Buffy.
"What?" said Giles.
"Typical night for a slayer," said Buffy. "We need your help, Angelus still has Willow," said Buffy.
"Oh my I hope she’s all right!" said Giles. "Let me consult my books, you two go get some sleep," said Giles.
"All right," said Buffy with her fingers crossed behind her back. Then they left the library.
Angelus had finished training his Queen, Spike, and Drusilla. "Okay now that you three are ready I will tell you my little plan," said Angelus.
Xander walked Buffy to her house. They said goodbye not knowing that they where thinking the same thing. They both decided on their own to find Willow or find out what happened to Willow tonight.
Once Buffy was inside her house, she went up to her room and got the supplies she would need just in case she had an encounter with vampires. Then she found a note on her desk from her mom.
I'm sorry but i had to go on a emergency business trip and won’t be back for a week. There is money in an envelope on your desk. Be good! I'll call you in three days.
Love mom
"Well at least I won’t get grounded for being out past my curfew," said Buffy to herself. Then Buffy walked out of her house.
Meanwhile Xander was walking towards Angel's apartment. Then all of a sudden Angelus appeared in front of him. "Hello Looser," said Angelus.
"What have you done with Willow?" asked Xander. "You'll find out soon enough," said Angelus. Then he slammed his fist into Xander’s face knocking him out.
Buffy was walking to Angel's place hoping to find an answer. Then all of a sudden Drusilla and Spike appeared in front of her. Spike grabbed one arm and put it behind her back while Drusilla knocked her out.
Buffy awoke to find she was shackled to a wall and Xander was right beside her, but he was still not awake. Nobody was in the room at the moment so she decided to try to wake Xander up.
"Xander," said Buffy. "Xander wake up!" said Buffy.
He slowly started to stir.
"Buffy? Where are we?" asked Xander.
"I'm not sure, we might be in the tunnels where I faced the master," said Buffy. Then all of a sudden Spike, Drusilla, and Angelus came into the room.
"So the slayer brat has finally decided to wake up," said Spike.
"Where is Willow?" asked Buffy. Then she noticed someone standing in the shadows, she couldn't tell who it was.
"We will tell you soon enough," said Angelus. "But first I just thought you should know that there is a new master in town," said Angelus.
"Really?Who?" asked Buffy.
"Me, I killed the little annoying one and claimed the throne," said Angelus. "I also made my three warrior vampires and your looking at two," said Angelus pointing to Spike and Drusilla. "The third you will meet in just a moment," said Angelus. "Plus the third is my vampire queen," said Angelus. Then all of a sudden a figure emerged from the shadows.
It was Willow, except this didn't look like they're Willow.
"Willow?" asked Buffy. "Hello my love," said Angelus. She went over to Angelus and he put an arm around her protectively.
"What have you done to her?" asked Xander.
"See for yourself," said Angelus. Then Willow put her game face on.
"Oh my gosh!" said Buffy and Xander.
"Yep I made her a vampire," said Angelus. "Plus she is my vampire queen and the third vampire warrior," said Angelus.
"I will kill you!" screamed Xander.
"Not before I kill you," said Angelus. "Except you won’t become a vampire, you will just die!" said Angelus. "Willow take this dagger and kill Xander," said Angelus.
"It would be my pleasure," said Willow grinning evilly. Willow approached with the dagger and was about to kill Xander, when Buffy broke free and kicked Willow across the room. She quickly broke Xander's chains. Then all four vampires got ready to fight and so did she.
"Xander run when I have them occupied, don't ask any questions!," whispered Buffy. Willow leapt at Buffy and so did Spike and Drusilla. Angelus had left deciding to not enter the fight at this time. Xander quickly made his escape and went to the library. Buffy was pinned to the ground and the situation didn't look good for her. Then she managed to kick them off her and make a run for it in the direction Xander had run. The three warrior vampires followed in pursuit moving quickly. Buffy didn't see Xander anywhere, so she figured he was on his way to Giles. She saw a passage up ahead that she remembered as being a secret way out.
Xander ran towards the library hoping Buffy was okay. He reached the library doors and ran inside. "Giles!" Xander screamed.
"Xander what on earth?" asked Giles. "What happened?"
"Buffy and I went to find Willow, we each got captured, we woke up in a cavern, and found out what happened to Willow," said Xander. "I escaped, but I'm not sure about Buffy,"
"We have to go find her before its to late," said Giles.
"I will show the way," said Xander. They left the library with weapons and went towards the cave entrance.
Buffy got out of the opening, but ran into Angelus. "Oh no you don't, you’re not going anywhere!" said Angelus.
"Hmm and who is going to stop me?" asked Buffy. She kicked him hard and continued running, will all four vampires still on her trail. Giles and Xander saw Buffy running with the vampires running after her and quickly ran to her. Xander got some holy water out and splashed Drusilla in the face. "Aaaaagggghhhh!" wailed Drusilla.
"Dru!" said Spike.
Xander, Buffy, and Giles ran towards the library. When they arrived there they quickly ran inside.
"Was that Willow chasing us?" asked Giles.
"Yes, she's the new vampire queen and the third warrior vampire," said Buffy.
"Oh my!" said Giles.
"Please tell me you can reverse it!" said Xander.
"I am sorry Xander," said Giles.
"Nooooooo!" said Xander. He fell on the floor and started crying, Buffy went over to him, hugged him and cried too.
The next day at school Buffy and Xander walked through the halls like Zombies. Buffy had told Oz what happened. He wanted to kill Angelus. But Buffy said if we find a cure for Angelus, we can find a cure for Willow. So all Buffy could rely on was hope. The hope of seeing her best friend and love again.
