The story we all know and love of Rose and Jack is not true. But as you know, the story of the R.M.S. Titanic and some of her passengers in the movie were based on the true story of the luxury liner. Her story is a sad one. Titanic never completed her maiden voyage. Instead, she hit an iceberg on the night of April 14, 1912 and sunk, leaving all of her passengers in small lifeboats on the large, lonely Atlantic Ocean, or to take them down with her into the dark, frigid waters. It is a tragic story. Thank you for visiting this part of my rapidly growing site! I hope to bring you more information on the real Titanic, plus compare the movie with the real Titanic.
