Story John Cusack plays a puppeteer who gets a job filing in a weird company. What he finds behind one cabinet is a portal that when one enters, enters the mind of John Malkovich for 15 minutes before spitting out on a nearby turnpike. Cameron Diaz plays his wife who discovers the wonder of being John and also falls in love with a woman.

Acting Great acting. Everyone does a phenomenal job. John Cusack is showing his range by doing a movie that is completely different from what he's done in the past. Cameron Diaz is completely convincing and it was very hard to tell it was her under that wig.

Setting New York City. More and more movies are being set in the city that never sleeps. It goes without saying that only a city with that much history could have a story as bizarre as this one.

Score Don't remember it too well. There were some scenes with some dancing and choreography that was very fitting.

Bottom Line Great movie. Definitely one of the best of the year. It's hard to tell what this movie was going to be like, but it pulled off all it's quirkiness and did not overdo any aspect of the whole film. Be forewarned, however, that the humor is not for everyone.
