His real name is Earl Simmons.
He's 28 years old.
He was born in Baltimore and raised in Yonkers, NY.
He now lives in central New Jersey with his wife and son.
He now has two dogs named Bandit & Bobbi. His first dog, Boomer, died in car accident.
DMX says, "I love to write rhymes. I love to express what real (people) feel, what street (people) feel. They need to be heard. They need to know there is a voice that speaks for them, and I am that voice."
