Paul
did a magnificent job with the misguided, overlooked, complex, and somewhat
unscrupulous (lost ~ but always intriguing!) sheriff Austin Peale on the
series "Lonesome
Dove: The Series/Outlaw Years". His struggles with right and wrong,
love and hate, submission and power, his craving for acceptance, affection,
and authority, and especially the Call/Austin/Mosby relationships are fascinating.
