Madigan Men is cancelled
December 16, 2000

We received these sad news from Roy Dotrice:

"I have just received news from ABC that they have canceled our series, Madigan Men. They are not even bothering to record next week's episode. This information was relayed last night via agents after we had left the Studio amidst cries of "Have a nice weekend. See you on Monday!! I think it's a pity because I believe the show was getting better week by week. I haven't even spoken to Gabriel about this cancellation, but he must be very disappointed, poor lad."

This was sent to Gabriel Byrne's Domain via Cinemind. It is confirmed by AudiencesUnlimited and sources at MM, but still nothing official from ABC - and don't count on them replying to emails!

Madigan Men may be taking a hiatus
December, 2000

Madigan Men may be put on hiatus starting Jan. 5. Rumours says that MM are going to be cancelled, but that is NOT confirmed yet. So please help out in any way you can to keep the show going.

We've talked to a staff member with the Production Office of Madigan Men. Here is the address they recommend fans write to:

ABC
Audience Information
500 S. Buena Vista St.
Burbank, CA 91521

There is also a phone comment line:
(818) 460-7477

...where you can leave a message (up to 30 seconds) . Please mention what you think of the show and ask them not to remove it from their line-up. I suggest that you ask them to give it a better time slot, which it deserves. So many people are saying, that if only MM had a different timeslot it'd do better.

You can also e-mail ABC (choose 'Primetime')

In case you haven't heard, Madigan Men is no longer taping before a live audience.
