The first
of 007's onscreen gadgets is his deadly briefcase, packed with every goodie
that James needs on this mission. The side of the case conceals a throwing
knife, while the inside safely holds gold sovereigns (for bribery of greedy
S.P.E.C.T.R.E. agents), a sniper's rifle (which aids in bringing down a
helicopter and also in killing a sneaky member of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.), an exploding
case of teargas, and plenty of ammunition.
While interrogating Tatiana about the Lecktor device, 007 also uses a recording machine that is built to look like an ordinary camera.
Far ahead of his time, James Bond carries a beeper which alerts him to report to MI6 and leave his previous engagement with Sylvia Trench.
