Here is the latest, inside scoop on The Twins Effect, Emperor Media Group's latest big budget film about a pair of vampire busters played by Hong Kong singing stars, the Twins.

The film was very well-received at MIFED (where international multimedia rights are bought and sold) with France being the first territory sold where it will be distributed by Deal, who have also acquired Michelle Yeoh's The Touch (2002).

The crew just came back from Thailand, where the opening scene, featuring Ekin Cheng and Josie Ho fighting vampires, was shot by action maestro Donnie Yen. Jackie Chan will start shooting his "special guest appearance" later this month.

International sales are being handled by a new Australian company called Arclight.
