After completions of repairs, the WITCH OF ENDOR and ROBERT E LEE has
moved
towards the boundaries of the newly proclamed Independent Isle of the
Squall
territory, with greetings from the UFP. The remaining Starfuries of
Black
Omega and Warbees had returned to
C1.
The Frigate BLOOD SQUALL, escorted by the corvette FIRE SQUALL had moved
to
meet the improvised diplomatic mission. Their Commander Yorand is due to
arrive soon to deal with the diplomats in person.

USS XERXES
During the battle with the Klingon fleet, Careth managed to position the
Xerxes with the prison colony between them and the enemy ships. As the
mighty Caesar class vessel passed the orbiting asteroid, she fired her
aft torpedoes. The impact on the prison was enough to set off some
explosive charges the away team had planted earlier. The resulting
explosion engulfed the Negh'Var battlecrusier that was pursuing them.
The Xerxes was barely able to make a short warp jump before her drive
systems failed. Other Klingon vessels managed to catch up with her
sometime later, as she sat nearly dead in space, but the crew was able
to fight off the second attack. At the very end of the battle,
engineering teams were able to get the warp drive to function, allowing
the Xerxes to escape the combat area.

Intelligence Report for Cocoon Fleet - Commander Tulok
The DS 101 area(the Amgine Sector) is currently stable. How long this
will last is unknown at this time.
A ceasefire has been established with the Na'Chem. The Juun remain
silent
on the matter.
Pirates continue to raid civilian vessels in the Irimida sector.
Klingon Situation Report for Starfleet - Commander Inhoff:
Communications between the Federation and The Cocoon have been
terminated
by a Klingon task force striking from an unknown base.
Reports and communications to the Federation are currently being carried
by
escort vessels to the vital conveys that supply the Cocoon.
The Klingons continue to attack Outposts and patrolling vessels on the
Klingon/Federtaion border. They are slowly advancing towards SB KAPPA.
Another starbase was lost, aswell as 53 starships as Klingons launched
a suprise attack on Federation borders - making Starfleet's total losses
290 Starships, 12 Outposts, 2 Starbases, and 172 Fighters.
SFSec continue to investigate the apparent assasination of the Klingon
Ambassador on Arkanis by the former CinC of Starfleet, who was killed
later by the Klingons.
