USS ATHENE
The Athene has joined the battle at the portal. During the turmoil, the
Athene detected a single life pod floating about amongst the chaos. The
pod
was of Vulcan design and there were minimal life support aboard. The
Athene
was able to fight it's way into a position to retrieve the life pod,
unfortunatly, Lieutenant Hanara, the ship's OPS officer, was injured
badly
after a Klingon vessel scored a direct hit on the Athene's bridge.
Hanara's
status remains uncertain.

USS KATANA
The KATANA was forced to break off her attack against the Vor'cha class
crusier BLOODOATH, when she received an urgent call for assistance from
the AVALON. After forming up with the rest of the CLASH wing, the
remenants of task force horizon, and recovering some escape pods from
the medical frigate recently destroyed USS VALIANT, the ships made there
way to the Portal to face off against a Klingon force of about 50 ships.
Lt Jacob Kotler, who was assigned to the USS VALIANT as a OPS
officer, was one of the few survivors of the ill fated ship. His life
pod was recovered by the KATANA and he was almost immeaditaely put to
work at OPS, after the death of Chief Marie Vautour.

USS XERXES
Captain Careth had completely recovered from his injuries in the
Starbase Omega infirmary, and demanded to rejoin his ship. With the
permission of Commodore Xantho, he was allowed to proceed to the battle
zone, by way of his personal shuttlecraft PEGASUS, which was in storage
on the base. Upon arrival at the XERXES, Careth took command to find
the ship was badly damaged, but still able to fight. The XERXES then
proceeded to aid the AVALON at the Portal.

USS HORIZON
The USS HORIZON is making her way to aid tha AVALON and ships from CLASH
and CHALICE in the defense of the Portal from the Klingons which have
broken through the defenses and made their way towards it.
The HORIZON has taken quite a pounding and it is uncertain whether or
not
she will be able to hold out in the fight.

USS GRYPHON

DS 101
The HIKARU, overloaded with survivors of the destroyed
Caeser class vessels, headed to the freighters, lest their
life support give out. They watched entities around DS 101
battled with the Nebula dwellers, 3 entities being destroyed
and one badly damaged before the Nebula dwellers were
defeated. The worm hole anomoly suddenly closed to the size
of a shuttle craft.
The CO greived for the loss of her FO and freind in her own
way in the privacy of her ready room. Her 2O was determined
that he would be the one to get her when she was needed,
knowing that she had suffered a great loss and didn't know
if her twins or her sister were alive. He did this dispite
the fact that he too may have lost someone close, his own
wife.
Alyza returned to the bridge with an idea on how to destroy
the worm hole anomoly. After a probe was sent in by HIKARU
to attempt to get a message to the CURIE on execute this
idea was destroyed, the anomoly vanished completely. It is
possible that this is a result of some actions on the part
of the USS CURIE, missing and presumed lost on the other
side of the worm hole.
Meanwhile, in response to the closing of the wormhole, the
DS 101 like entities headed at high speed for the other end
of the cocoon, leaving DS 101 herself in a dormant state.

USS CURIE
Not certain if Capt Martin Claudius, formerly CO of the USS
STENA was whom he claimed to be, Karra'gana called security
to the bridge while his identity was checked out. Capt.
Z'Dark remains in sickbay, unconsious but out of danger for
the moment.
It was determined that the CURIE needed to find a way to
close down the worm hole to keep the creatures that looked
like DS 101 from wreking havoc on the known areas of the
Cocoon. The ship found that they were over an entity as
well.
The CURIE FO had the young FCO ease them away from the
creature, and caused their Romulan CNS frustration as she
seemed to be mildly amused by this whole thing. She chalked
it up to the slowness of humans to understand the situation
at hand.

USS DURHAM
The Durham is awaiting a new crew at SB Omega. If Omega is attacked, it
can be expected to aid in defense of the Starbase.

USS IBUTHO
The USS IBUTHO is currently awaitning staff. Although Hanari has no
senior staff she knows that if the Klingons come through the portal, she
and the IBUTHO will be called into defense of OMEGA.

USS KRIEGER
As the senior staff began to report onboard the USS KRIEGER it became
apparent that something wasn't right when Lt.Harrison discovered a small
creature in his quarters.
Soon the creatures appeared all over the ship, dividing quickly to grow
new specimens.
Ens.Sovak and Ens.Hale worked on containing the creatures whilst
Ens.Malaar and Lt.Harrison investigated a mysterious 'mock' shuttle.
As the new CEO, Ens.Sands, arrived it was found that by lowering the
ship's temperature the creatures would huddle near a heat source.
Ens.Sands set up a source of heat that the creatures would be attracted
too and eventually the crew contained the infestation - beaming the
creatures to SB OMEGA for further investigation.
With the infestation contained, and SFSec investigating the course, the
USS KRIEGER was given mission orders to investigate a discovery of
Cocoon Listening Outpost 12's. The Outpost has picked up what could be
a warp signiture of a previously unencountered race.
With the ship underway, the senior staff are gathering in the
Observation Lounge for a briefing.

USS ZAHAL
After finally getting the replicator reprogrammed so it
produces more than just gach, the ZAHAL set out on its
mission. Communication has been lost to the terraforming
colony of Vagra III in the Renrael Sector. It is possible
that the 20 terraformers are in peril for their lives, so
ZAHAL is proceeding at their maximum cruise warp.
A worm hole that grew and shrunk appeared on long range
sensors, but a probe launched at the orders of the CO said
there was no such worm hole. The crew is now trying to
determine if the computer malfunction that caused the
replicatore to produce gach was more than first appeared.
What went wrong on the colony also still remains a mystery.
The FO, Kalen 7 has been confined to sickbay after some
flashbacks to his days as a Borg.

Intelligence Report for Cocoon Fleet - Commander Sellush
A freighter was attacked recently by an unknown entity.
Deep Space 101 is investigating the incident.
A ceasefire has been established with the Na'Chem. The Juun response
has been unexpectedly reserved.
Talks have resolved the recent 'pirate' problems in the Irimida Sector
Klingon Situation Report for Starfleet - Commander Inhoff:
Communications between the Federation and The Cocoon have been
terminated by a Klingon task force striking from an unknown base.
Reports and communications to the Federation are currently being
carried by escort vessels to the vital conveys that supply the Cocoon.
Rumours of a Klingon attack on The Cocoon are circulating within
the Federation. The tenth fleet is being sent to provide backup
should the rumours be true.
A communication from an unknown reliable source has provided
The Cocoon Fleet with more solid information and a defense fleet
is massing at SB OMEGA to repel the Klingon assault.
The USS HORIZON is leading a task force of 12 starships, including
the USS GRYPHON in a pre-emptive strike against the 600+ strong
Klingon assault fleet.
SFSec continue to investigate the apparent assasination of the Klingon
Ambassador on Arkanis by the former CinC of Starfleet, who was killed
later by the Klingons.
The USS SAGAN is currently on it's way to retreive the SFSec team and
complete the mission in hopes of stopping the Klingon assault on
The Cocoon.
