USS KATANA
Tokath, Kitru Aldatan and Ensign Kotler are still in the scientific
lab at an unidentified point in the time/space continuum. They have
established that the old man is actually an extremely powerful alien who
is using them as 'test subjects' for his experiment.
Lt.Cmd Tokath attempted to get more information out of the stranger, but
succeeded only in getting himself rendered unconscious and suspended in
a force field. Lt..Aldatan and Ens. Kotler watched on helpless...
Back at the 'bridge' in the glade, weather conditions worsened further,
the temperature had fallen and the hailstorm turned to heavy snow.
Knowing they could not survive outside, Dr Bra'an, Cdr.Thelek, and
Ensign Krwn carried the unconcious Rickson to the shelter of the cabin.
When they got there, Rickson regained conciousness, his injuries from
the trap were healing well. Kwrn told the others that he believed they
were in some kind of warp bubble and that Tokath, Kitru Aldatan and
Ensign Kotler were dead. Dr. Bra'an however strongly disagreed, she
explained that she could sense Kitru through her private psychic link...

USS PHOENIX
As the USS PHOENIX left SB OMEGA to start its shakedown cruise, it was
hit by a large energy spike of white lightning which has injured the
captain and many of the crew, including the aCO, Johnathon Bondy's
daughter. 5 members of the crew have been sent into a coma.
The USS PHOENIX has been sent to investigate Communications Relay
Station Alpha 3 which is where the energy spike was formed. Preliminary
findings show that the space around the Com Sat is being streched at
warp 22 in a wave originating from the com sat.

USS XERXES
The crew of the USS XERXES continues to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of
SB
OMEGA. Several of the crew still on starbase have met up with the
skeleton
crews of USS ZAHAL and USS KRIEGER, both in dock at SB OMEGA. The crew
of
the ZAHAL has invited the other crews to join them on the holodeck for a
climbing expedition near Petra (on Earth).
Two new Klingon officers, Lt. (jg) T'Orn and Ens. Wolf, both formerly of
the
USS ZAHAL, have been assigned to the XERXES, which has led to some
confusion
of identities. (Not all of the crew may be espcially receptive to the
new
Klingon crew members.)
Prior to leaving for the climbing expedition, the ship's Counselor
successfully retrieved his combadge.
The crews from all three ships are currently on their way to the
holodeck.

USS GRYPHON
Having recovered from the socialising in Cascades, the GRYPHON's CMO and
CSciO have been examining scans of the Virus from M'Sagro III.
They have discovered that the fatal virus is spread by non-humans who
are unnaffected by it.
Following a meeting with Cmdr.Firestorm a subspace silence has been
ordered to prevent this information being revealed to the humans on
M'Sagro III - such information could cause hostility by the humans
towards non-humans.
A new CEO, Lt.Halifax has come aboard the USS GRYPHON.
Gamma Shift is just begining and the senior staff are gathering at
Holodeck for a simulation arranged by Firekey, the ship's counselor

DS 101
The HIKARU dropped a sensor probed to monitor a new
space-dwelling life form that was discovered near the
borders of the Amgine and Dergrad sectors. They will pick
it back up and complete the investigation when they are done
with their mission. They are currently under orders to
maintain radio silence.
Crossing into Dergrad territory, Capt Alyza initiated her
"stealth" modifications designed to fool the rather poor
Dergrad sensors. The senior staff then was called back to
the bridge to discuss the orders now that that is
permissible.
Meanwhile, troubles continue on M'Sagro III. There was a
creature attack on camp 2 and many are still dying from the
virus [see also Gryphon's sit rep]. Floods caused further
problems in one camp, water shortages continue to be a
problem in most of the others.
A Federation Ambassador arrived on the station as did a
civilain psychiatrist/councelor. The later set up an office
on the mall level. The station still is undergoing internal
repairs to residences, mall shops, and offices.

USS CURIE
The Romulan shuttle containing Kelen and Kalayah has landed on the
homeworld of unknown aliens. Kelen has aquired an anti-matter storage
pod from the local Starport to give the cloaked shuttle power. But with
power reserves at 18percent, and power couplings damaged, there is still
much work to do before Kalayah and Kelen can start searching for the
CURIE and Kelen just accidently destroyed the nearest source of spare
parts...
The USS CURIE herself has followed the false warp trail of the shuttle
to the planet and an away team are on their way by Starfleet shuttle.
The away team consists of Cmdr. Judah Gibbons, Ens. Be'Torra - the
ship's SFSec agent, and Arden Pryde - a local to the region of space the
CURIE is lost in.

USS DURHAM
The Durham is enroute to the Federation Research Outpost 602 which has
reported an outrbreak of 'Transvasian Fever'. The Vaccine for this
fever
is particularly insidious in that if left outside of a containment field
for greater than 2 hours, it mutates into a new form of the disease.
There
has been an outbreak of a mutated form of the disease onboard. The CO,
CSO, and CMO are all infected.
An intruder has been discovered onboard, but the intruder made an
transporter escape onto presumably a nearby cloaked ship. There is a
concern that it may be the cloak off the Uridian ship recently disabled
by
the Katana.
There are problems with the warp propulsion system that may, or may not,
be
due to sabotage by the intruder.

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The
Juun have made no official comment.
Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure
of genecide commited against the Na'Chem by the Juun are displaying
signs of dissension following Federation aid of Na'Chem colonies.
A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against the Juun. The Juun are increasing pressure for Starfleet
to respond to this threat with force.
The USS CURIE and USS KATANA are still MIA.
Amgine Sector Report:

Deep Space 101 is currently rebuilding following the discovery
that the station itself was a living creature, known as 'The Keeper'.
Following a battle with the Nebula Dwellers The Keeper has begun
hibernation for the lifespan of the Vulcan it absorbed.
The Federation Embassy on the Dergrad homeworld, Soc'Nu, reported
that it was under attack by Dergrad rebels before communications were
cut off. A ship has been dispatched to investigate.
M'Sagro III is quarantined following the outbreak of a virus that is
slowly killing the human population. A ship has been dispatched to
combat the virus.
Beyond the Portal:

The Cardassian Union has recovered the majority of the planets occupied
by the Klingons 40 years ago. Their fleet continues to advance to those
planets yet to fall. The Klingon defense is limited - with the majority
of the occupied zone Klingon fleet destroyed during 'The Battle for the
Cocoon'.
The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Further negotiations between the Federation and the Klingon Empire are
expected to proceed shortly on the historical planet 'Khitomer'.
Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent
war.
The wormhole at DS 12 has yet to stabilise sufficiently for traffic to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.
