USS ATHENE
As the OPS officer considers the comatose forms of the rest of the
away team she realises that the awakening of the planet may not be the
fortuitous occurence it first appeared to be. The possibility in
question is that the creatures in fact served as bait to lure the
Athene
to the planet.
As the telepathic CO prepares to join the away team the former CO is
discovered on the surface, injured but still alive. What will this
mean
for the Athene? Who will captain her in the future?

USS HORIZON
The HORIZON is whole once again, as a Romulain ship approaches the
partially crippled ship. With a group of Na'Chem still abroad they
make for
the photon torpedo room and plan to take such. As Security closes
about
them one of the Na'Chem men make a makeshift bomb from them, ready to
blow
the ship up. As security moved in the problem is dealt with by beaming
the
'bomb' out into space and the Na'Chem to the brig.
On the surface the Romulain prepared for evacuation. As the small
group
escapes the caves they then quickly gather all the security people the
can
and prepare to re-enter the caved to take the Romulian position. The
unsuspecting Starfleet officers though are making their way into a
Romulain
trap, hoping to kill them and leave no trace of themselves. The teams
make
their way to the entrance of the Romulain base.
The Romulain ship closed in as the HORIZION's shields on deck 19 seem
to be disabled along with many other sensors on the bridge. The ship
turns
and makes for Stalus III. As security rushes in to see what is causing
the
problems they are shocked to find a Romulian commander, Commander
P'Gha,
who requests asylum.

USS KATANA
The KATANA is currently docked at the Gaia Fleet yards. Her crew is
enjoying a party thrown by Krwn in honor of the success of their last
mission. Most of the senior staff are on Starbase Omega, in a club
called the Starlight Lounge. Lt. Rickson was awarded the Cross of
Alexander for his actions during T.F.B.C. Lt. Te'Paul, and Ensign
Ysnetsil'O-taht"Eno'-‘Tearg reported aboard as CEO and CNS,
respectively.

Condor Squadron: Commodore Andrew Lochheart

USS GRYPHON
The USS GRYHPON continues to orbit M'Sargo III.
It has been determined that the virus is carried by non-humans, but
from
some unknown reason, is not fatal to non-humans. CNS Storm Firekey
recommended using holo-communicators to allow all ship's personnel to
work
on the problem without danger of further infection. Meanwhile, CEO
Halifax
went in search of a reclusive ex-Starfleet engineer, Mara Kane, only
to find
her infected by the virus and in need of medical attention.
Dr. Kim and Lt. Sovak began to exam those infected by the virus, the
doctor
having a chance to show off his sparking bedside manner. A young girl,
infected but not showing any signs of the virual attack, has two
oddities
peculiar t oher: she has eaten certain berries and was stung by a
wasp-like
creature.
Beaming the infected Mara Kane to a runabout, the biofilters detect an
unknown "something" in her system. Dr. Kim's analysis reveals that it
is not
a mutation of the virus, but the original form - and that Mara Kane is
the
incubator.
Overcoming minor glitches, Lt (jg) Halifax and Ens Samantha Fulworth
finally
get the holo-communicators operational. Later, Halifax returns to the
HAWKING to check on reported problems with the holo-communicators. A
pain
grows greater in his chest as he approaches, until finally he
collapses in
the runabout.
Meanwhile, aboard the GRYPHON, the new Chief Science Officer, Lt (jg)
Katerina Petrova, checks in. She is slightly disgruntled at receiving
a
sciences position over a secuirty posting.

DS 101
A new ops officer has arrived on the station, Lt. Platt has
been made CEO, and Jillian Hilton, the CSciO has a bit of a
mystery on her hands since tests show she is not pregnant
when tests a few weeks ago showed she clearly was.
Meanwhile, the Gryphon crew, who is helping out the DS 101
residents quarenteened on M'Sagro III, has found someone
carrying the original version of the virus killing only
humans there. She is one of the ex-Maquis.
The Hikaru continues its mission. It awaits word from the
away team on Dergrad, who has entered an area screened from
Hikaru's sensors. Hikaru has a bit of a mystery of its own
to deal with at the same time, as someone was appearantly
trying to make contact with them through their telepaths,
Vulcans being in contact the longest. None of them have any
memories of the encounter, but Dr. Ling says that for some
reason, their memory centers were being stimulated.

USS CURIE
Arago and Perigrin have finally returned after helping the
ZAHAL recover from it's virus, Arago overseeing Z'Dark out
of his coma. On the ice planet, Kelen set the detention
centre's power core to self destruct. This action would
cause a polar meltdown. Be'Torra remodulated the shield
harmonics to reduce the damage, although she was able to
stop it altogether. The away team has returned to the
CURIE, Bitzalel putting Kelen under arrest for allegedly
violating the prime directive.

The IBUTHO is currently awaiting staff and undergoing minor repairs.

USS KRIEGER
Those left on Vargra III prepared for an attack, and attack came.
Through the fighting the small group makes it to the lift, and their
eventual freedom of the planet. With Petrova still in sickbay she
contacts
the bridge in time to have the KRIEGER move away from the LONGARM just
as
her core breeches.
With the ship returning to SB OMEGA the crew fill out reports and
rest from their adventurous time at Vagra III. A'vern, Katrina
Petrova, and
Uchwi, are all promoted to Lt(jg), for their actions on this mission,
and
upon arrival of SB OMEGA report for reassignment to the fleet. Lt.
Jamie
Harper is reassigned to DS 101, as Chief of Operations.
With the KRIEGER docked at SB OMEGA, Lt. Marshall is called before
Admiral Bagamibatoo. There he is promoted to Lieutenant Commander, and
made
CO of the KRIEGER.

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The
Juun have made no official comment.
Officials sacked from the Juun government following the exposure
of genecide commited against the Na'Chem by the Juun are displaying
signs of dissension following Federation aid of Na'Chem colonies.
A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against the Juun. The Juun are increasing pressure for Starfleet
to respond to this threat with force.
Amgine Sector Report:

Deep Space 101 is currently rebuilding following the discovery
that the station itself was a living creature, known as 'The Keeper'.
Following a battle with the Nebula Dwellers The Keeper has begun
hibernation for the lifespan of the Vulcan it absorbed.
The Federation Embassy on the Dergrad homeworld, Soc'Nu, reported
that it was under attack by Dergrad rebels before communications were
cut off. A ship has been dispatched to investigate.
M'Sagro III is quarantined following the outbreak of a virus that is
slowly killing the human population. A ship has been dispatched to
combat the virus.
Beyond the Portal:

The Cardassian Union has recovered the majority of the planets
occupied
by the Klingons 40 years ago. Their fleet continues to advance to
those
planets yet to fall. The Klingon defense is limited - with the
majority
of the occupied zone Klingon fleet destroyed during 'The Battle for
the
Cocoon'.
The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in
the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Further negotiations between the Federation and the Klingon Empire are
expected to proceed shortly on the historical planet 'Khitomer'.
Federation fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent
war.
The wormhole at DS 12 has yet to stabilise sufficiently for traffic to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.
