USS HORIZON

Commodore Power begins his tour of the HORIZON, terrifying many of the
relief
workers, and psyching out the senior staff.

Ens. Arkanis, the new CSO, meets with several of his crew mates, and
is
filled in on the current situation of the HORIZON by Cmdr. Tergin.

Meanwhile, Lt.'s Suven and Hamelin, and Lt. Malaar head back to
the
HORIZON.

USS KATANA

After giving a eulogy for the KATANA, NAIROBI, and MALEVOLENT
personnel downed in the fight for Mossara's base, Captain Thelek
stands second-guessing himself at the casket of the MALEVOLENT's
CO. Captain Marshall of the NAIROBI joins him and advises him not
to be so hard on himself, saying "We do what we can."

Their conversation is interrupted by receipt of Fleet-wide and
direct-address orders to consider the USS COCHRANE hostile.
Marshall's comment about not envying him his position of perhaps
having to face the COHRANE reminds Thelek of a more immediate and
equally distastful task.

Bra'an goes to her quarters under the escort of Thelek and two
members of security. She watches calmly, apathetically, while they
clear all weaponry out of her room and set the terminal and
replicator to restricted access. The guards remain outside her door
and Trey Bra'an, thinking of the possibility of being sent to a
penal colony, quells the thought that that will mean being seperated
from Kitru, whom she is unwillingly Leska-bonded to.

When the KATANA arrived at the base, Captain Thelek ordered a high
orbit around the station rather than docking. The Inquiry had yet to
be held and there was no reason to make it fodder for the rumor-mills.
This gives Chaela a chance to fly the Trill Singer II to the KATANA.

After boarding, Chaela is introduced to the KATANA's sticky problem
and goes to confront 'the accused'. Trey is not exactly warm,
believing Chaela to be a stereotypical SF Counselor, full of 'I
understand' and 'You are ill, you need to get better'. Chaela upsets
that stereotype right away and eventually uses pirate cant to back up
her professed experience with pirates. Trey doesn't burst into tears
and fling herself on Chaela's mercies, but she does, almost
involuntarily, relax slightly with the new CNS.

Meanwhile, the three Captains, Thelek, Marshall, and, recently
rescued from a stranded shuttle, Thesonik, peruse the evidence in
preparation for the coming Inquiry and a Deck 9 Conference Room is
set up for the proceedings.

USS CURIE

Paul Hascoe has had a rather interesting run in with the
Ambassador's assistant, Alesia Corvelli, where the idea of an
Ambassadorial dinner is suggested. Galia Bitzalel continues her
counselling before giving Hascoe a tour of the ship. As the
CURIE approaches the Renrael Sector and the ship tour winds
up, Galia, Paul and Judah Gibbons are having a dinner of their
own.

Cocoon Fleet Situation Intelligence Report:
by Cmdr. Ilu

A ceasefire exists between the Federation and the Na'Chem. The Juun
have
made no official comment. Several Officials sacked from the Juun
government following the exposure of genocide committed against the
Na'Chem by the Juun have attempted to lure the Federation into a war
with
the Na'Chem. Starfleet is investigating these allegations of Genocide
against the Na'Chem heavily which may threaten the Juun's position in
the
Federation. Starfleet Intelligence Officers are on the scene and
investigating the reports of Romulan influence in the matter.

A small number of Na'Chem factions are refusing to acknowledge the
ceasefire. Calling themselves the Na'stiu, they continue raids
against
the Juun.

An area of space being dubbed the ‘Bermuda Triangle' has left Several
Starfleet vessels missing. A ship has been sent to investigate.

Amgine Sector Report:
by Lt. Serin Erl

Deep Space 101 has returned to it's previous location. The exact
circumstances of it's disappearance have been divulged to Cocoon Fleet
Headquarters.

Outpost 108's construction proceeds on schedule, it's support vessel
however has left on a joint mission with the Klingon vessel "Kahless'
Blood".

The USS CURIE has returned from the far end of the Cocoon.

A new HAWKING class ship has arrived to replace the aging FEYNMAN.

Beyond the Portal:
by Lt. Michael Walters

The Klingon Empire has established a Ceasefire with the Federation
following the exposure of a conspiracy between the Klingon Houses in
the
former Occupied zone and the Cardassian Union.
Peace Negotiations are proceeding slowly on Khitomer, several of the
Federation's top ambassadors have been sent and recent reports say
that
the Negotiations are nearing an end.

Fleet yards across the Federation are putting in extra effort to bring
the fleets numbers back up to what they were before the war. What
Starfleet lacks now is the personnel to staff those ships. Federation
fleets are regrouping and rebuilding following the recent war. The
eighth fleet, sixth and third fleets are the only fleets so far to
regain
their numbers to what they were before the war.

The wormhole at DS 12 has finally sufficiently stabilized for traffic
to
resume to the Gamma Quadrant.

Respectfully Submitted,
Tom Doyle,
Fleet GM for Holoworld
