When assistCSO Chandler T'krn McCarter returned to her and her husband's
quarters, she saw on the chronometer that there were only 5 minutes
until her husband's shift in the Lounge would end. She decided to stay
there and soothe her nerves with a mocha while waiting to drop her
bombshell on Yossarian McCarter. Contrary to popular opinion though,
Yossarian is overjoyed to hear he is going to be a daddy and he
reassures Chandler when she admits her doubts about her mothering
ability. Mercedes hears the good news from her brother and just has to
go see CO Judah Gibbons to give him a smooch or two with all the joy
bubbling up inside her. She thinks "Aunt Mercedes" sounds great!
The phrase from CNS Logaan Woods' dream still haunts him and when he
goes to Mercedes and shares the nightmare he had about hitting her, she
whispers the phrase herself and shivers. They set the computer to
searching forreferences that might give them some idea of what it means
and that sets off a shiver of deja vu in Mercedes.
CSciO Jur Lehron's advice to OPS Christopher Michaels is to never eat
the Synrethian Delight 12-course meal in the replicator's database,
never ask the captain to go to a wedding in the nude, and always accept
the science officer's offer of lunch. Whereupon Jur promptly offers to
treat Michaels to lunch and some shopping. Michaels thankfully accepts
the meal, but excuses himself from shopping to try to make some headway
through his lists of things to get done.
Off duty, Jur heads down to see his fiance, FO Miranda Sands. Jur tries
to set up a fancy, memorable wedding for them (to show Miranda how
efficient he can be) but Miranda confesses to wanting to get hitched
without all the complicated arrangements. Jur breathes a sigh of relief
and whisks her off to the holodeck for a relaxing, romantic night
instead of more planning and discussions. When they attempt to leave
the next morning to get back to their duties, the holodeck's doors
refuse to respond to the usual commands. Since they didn't bring their
communicators, that means they are trapped with comforts better than
home. Jur tries to fix the situation by switching the simulation to one
with a lab where they can build a communicator, but his habit of saving
the programs with number names throws them for a loop when the file he
refers to turns out, instead, to be one where he attempts to study
enormous man-eating creatures.

While en route to the Kalosian system, Ensign Kate Spencer-Burke, the
captain's wife, arrives aboard the Horizon. They're very glad to finally
be together again. Now that the truth about his origin has recently been
revealed, FO Leyson Ayden opens up about his 'past' (which in fact is
the future) for the first time.
The USS Meade's FO and CSciO suddenly find themselves in an unknown star
system, transported over who-knows-how-many lightyears from the Kalosian
system.

The crews of DS 101 and NIGHTINGALE continue to unravel a mystery.
Dr Poynton is still trapped on DS 101 in the past, about 150 years into
the past. It's present (or past, depending on your view point) occupants
are a feline race called Mo'rris. The station's commander, Karnic
informs Poynton that a comet is on a collision course with DS 101. The
station is without weapons to destroy the comet. Perhaps Dr Poynton has
discovered the reason for his appearance on this DS 101. After his
meeting with Karnic, Poynton goes to a local restaurant and has a short,
entirely uninformative, visit from the holographic Al.
Meanwhile back on StarFleet's DS 101, in a recently occupied cabin, an
alien finally manages to get his dimensional transport to work. With a
flash of energy and light, the alien Mo'rris returns to his own time and
his mate, Na'Chal. Cmdr Canon awakes from a mental visit to the
Dreamscape where he discovers that Poynton's neural essence has somehow
merged with the living station.
An explosion occurs in the auditorium on the Mall Level of StarFleet's
DS 101. Teams from the station and the NIGHTINGALE respond. Following up
on the massive energy discharge on-board, Canon and Fischer investigate
the Mo'rris' cabin. While there Canon has another Dreamscape vision.
Alzya and Stuart go to the auditorium to deal with the survivors and
investigate the cause of the explosion.
Back on the NIGHTINGALE, Dr McCuen is extremely please with the outcome
of Kennala's surgery. A few days of physical therapy and Kennala is
walking once again.
