When her dream of the psycho D-warp pilot seems to be unfolding in the
real world, wakening her with the call to Security, CSO Mercedes
McCarter hopes it wasn't a precognizant vision. Using her apparent
foreknowledge of one possible outcome, she steers the situation away
from the one she saw rendering CNS Logaan Woods catatonic. The reality
isn't truly any better though, for the deranged pilot jumps her twin
brother Yossarian instead of Logaan and instead of being phasered down
before reaching his target he stabs the Lounge piano player four times
before Mercedes tackles him. Enraged, she beats his head against the
nearest available surface, rendering him unconscious, and has to
be torn away from him. With the injured transported to Sickbay and being
cared for, CMO Sertek moves to Mercedes side to have a word with her
about her brother and, through his touch-telepathy, overhears a snippet
of mental conversation between her and some male. There were no notes in
her file mentioning any such ability; is she schizophrenic? Moments
later, more work for the medical staff arrives: CEO Chandler McCarter,
Yossarian's wife, went into premature labor upon hearing of his
accidental encounter with the D-warp damaged pilot.

infant's spirit for an important lesson. They go to Rana IV, where the
Douwd known as the human Kevin Uxbridge is living in exile for the crime
he committed: killing the entire race of the Husnock. His story since
serves as a lesson for all young Douwd.
Meanwhile, the away teams arrives aboard the Pri-Sat and begins their
investigation.
