FO Seldon and CSciO Eynar rescue the away team from their attackers. As
they return to the Horizon, they take the enemy leader. Captain Threin
recognizes him as a member of the Deserte Stellar Command.
The unborn child of Bordaq and Amy has been placed in stasis. It needs
Tal nutrients that only Bordaq can provide, but he has been placed on a
secret mission by Section 31. Amy is concerned for his well-being, not in
the least because the Nurec-Talis are still around.
The 212 Amazon colonists are being detained in a sports arena, with a
transporter shield covering the entire building. A direct assault is too
risky, so CO Burke tells the SpecOps team to find a quiet route in.
Meanwhile, CSO Cady is recovering nicely from his injuries. CMO Threin
has discovered that the baby Kate Burke is carrying might have been
harmed by beaming to the Horizon-1000 and back.

After taking on new crew, the ATHENE encounters a space battle between a
Federation made Acro-fighter and several small fighters of Alien design. The
Acro's pilot performs some magic at the controls of the small fighter and
manages to stay alive until the Athene can get to its rescue. Upon allowing
the Acro to dock, it is found that her pilot is none other than Captain Ra,
a Starfleet Intelligence officer that has had dealings with Simms in the
past. Also, unknown to Captain Simms, his son has come aboard the Athene as
am engineer officer. In other dealings, Simms puts the new marine unit onboard
in charge of protecting the alien time bomb they are hauling.

Onboard the HIKARU, Ens Enrasson awakens in Sickbay after a self-generated
electrical shock. He has no memory of the event. He soon learns that the
D-Warp shuttle pilot who delivered him to DS 101 had a similar experience.
Meanwhile inside the asteroid's brig, a human family endures the cramped
conditions. They get to know their fellow prisoners, from several species.
Their evening meal is served by one of the Klingon guards. After the meal
one of the prisoners, a Klingon woman named B'Talla, tells a story to the
human child. Soon the story has its desired effect and the children are
asleep. B'Talla and the human parents, Stephen and Carol, talk. B'Talla
reveals that her father is in charge of the asteroid. B'Talla's father had
her thrown into the brig for trying to steal a shuttle and escape from the
asteroid. Her father is a criminal.
This asteroid is a docking site for small vessel and has a cargo bay. Thar
suggests that it is used for hidden storage. Scans from the HIKARU soon
identifies the Brig. Various suggestions on what to do next are considered.

After the awayteam materializes safe the nightingale raises shields, due to an incoming missile. The missile is heavily shielded, so destrution is no option so after
contacting the away team they try to outrun it. After they cleared the 5th planet they jump to warp but the missile enters the field with them.
Meanwhile the awayteam hits the road. It leads to the pre-industrial
village they chose to visit.

USS YEAGER

CO Rudolph Fischer and CSO Ann Readdy still wander around the strange place they are stuck in. Readdy steps in some sort of quicksand and Rudolf is eventually able to pull her free. She is still completely covered with dark green "slime", from the neck down, when they meet Mrs. Artha, who wipes the "slime" off the CSO and offers to accompany both officers to the exit.
In the real world, the CO's and CSO's conditions have mysteriously improved, and the aCMO Xixx is determinated to find out why. CSciO Naalauilos and FCO Carson still work on a way to interact with the dust particles, which seem to be alive. The problem is there are over 85 billion voices to sort out, and aFO Pataar
is ready to use force if necessary.
