With LtCmdr. Cipio secure in the Horizon's brig, Lt. Einicrox, Lt. 'n
Galeda, Lt O'Brady, Fryda and the rest of the team wrap up their
business in Florence. They take everything that doesn't belong in the 15th
century with them to the ship. Despite Einicrox's vigilance, Fryda
confiscates one of Cipio's padd's. Back on the Horizon, Ambassador Pendar is
most pleased with this, as it contains schematics of many pieces of
Federation technology.
LtCmdr. Nova'Song returns in the Arrow-class fighter, feeling fully
refreshed again. There has been no more sign of the temporal disturbance she
picked up at the edge of the Sol system.
Once back aboard, Einicrox and 'n Galeda briefly retreat to the privacy of
their quarters. 'n Galeda informs Einicrox of what comissioner Delphi told
him about their future. Einicrox tells him not to worry. Later, she checks
with her security team. CWO Walker and Ensign Davidovitch talked with some
of the Chupacabra's crew and analyzed its mission recorder. It appears Cipio
was responsible for the Chupacabra's displacement through time. Delphi might
have helped him; at the least, he knew who she was and handled some of her
equipment. Cipio himself has remained silent so far during Einicrox's
interrogations.
Elsewhere, a cloaked ship from the future is keeping watch on the Horizon's
situation.

Hanson felt awkward as he was asking for trouble when Captain Canon
was behind him, hearing every joking word.
Lt. Mao'Syllis alerted the FO to a slight fluctuation in the port
nacelle. For the most part though, the NIGHTINGALE'S departure from
the Loten system was routinely boring. Canon orders "no trouble" as
he goes to the Swamp to have breakfast.
To alleviate the boredom, Syllis discreetly asked Hanson for a
battle drill. Hanson agrees, and the ship went on red alert.
Meanwhile, Mrell leaves the shuttlebay but not before ordering the
maintainance staff to stay away for fear they would discover the
remains of the dead Gul. Then, he temporarily hides his vial of DNA
fragments in a bulkhead in the stellar cartography "bubble" before
going on to meet Captain Canon in the Swamp later for breakfast.

After spending some time of in the Holodeck celebrating the end of the
mission things turn to normal again for the Yeagers crew. A Lt
Avan Laras, an unjoined Trill, joins the crew as FCO. He meets up with
Dr Connor for a medial check up. Jason is particularly interested in
the bionic arm that the Trill has.
Few minutes later Hemux goes to Connor with an annoying pain in his
arm and insists to be treated by Dr Connor.
While Hemux is in sickbay he is introduced to Avan and both men try to
find out what they can make out each other.
Meanwhile Lan'Tzu and Readdy run a check up on the weapon systems.
Next day Commander Fisher and Lt Hazel give out the new orders for the
YEAGER : to investigate and determine the origin of an unknown portal
that duplicates any object that goes through the portal. Arn who
observes the new crewmember find Avan looking rather uncomfortable and
tries to determine why.
Being curious to Dr Hemux response of the crew about such short orders
from StarFleet tries to find out more about the whereabouts of the portal.
Both Hemux and Connor make some jokes about the portal and the
duplicating - process bt are drawn back to attention by Commander Fisher.
After the briefing the Yeager immediately sets course to the nearby,
unnamed system where they will study the portal. Avan, the new FCO is
glad to be at the helm of a Spaceship again and feels he is back where
he belongs.
