The Horizon is escorted from Point Havoc, where they reappeared in the
present, to the Cocoon Portal. In the days following the Horizon's time
jump, the entire crew was interrogated by Temporal Operations officers. Lt
'n Galeda was given a particularly hard time by Cmdr. Gr'Well, who led the
interrogations.
Captain Burke was visited a few times by Crewman Mark Seven, of whom his
daughter Cassandra informed him in a dream before the time jump. Seven is in
fact Admiral Robert Gehrig, but he keeps his real identity secret. Still,
now that Burke discovered he works for TempOps, it's time for him to leave
the Horizon. He transfers to the USS H.G. Wells and meets with Cassandra
Burke, who travelled back in time sixty years to oversee the Horizon's time
jump. Later, Gehrig meets with Gr'Well, who did exactly what he and
Cassandra Burke expected him to do. Now, it's time for Gr'Well to vanish,
and Gehrig does just that. Cassandra is tempted to visit her family and
friends in this timeline, but she knows she can't.
After the Horizon's return to SB Omega, Burke calls a staff meeting. He
promotes Lts. 'n Galeda and Einicrox to Lieutenant-Commander, and Lt
O'Brady to full Lieutenant. That night, there is a fancy dress ball on
Omega.
