crew has been put to work preparing for it's inevitable clash with the

USS KATANA
On the surface of one of Omirax IV moons, Chief Malone was attacked by
an unknown beast. Ens. Kurri, wanting to help the chief, lept onto the
beast's back causing a big enough distraction that the chief was able to
escape. Kurri was thrown from the beast and was hurt in the conflict.
Tokath, who was now able to get a clear shot, fired on the beast with a
phaser powered on full. At that moment, the science and engineering teams
of Katana were able to get through the interference and thus able to beam
the away team directly to sickbay where Ens Kurrii was worked on by Ens.
Wakuthi.
On the Katana, the Cardassians, responding to the hail of Lt.Cmdr Ra, have
announced that they are looking for dangerous criminal by the name of
Jorgenson who is wanted by the Union. Lt.Cmdr Ra has informed Gul Nakol
that they could assist in the apprehension of this criminal.

USS XERXES
The Xerxes has successfully broken free from the grip of the alien
vessel. Unfortunately, feedback energy from the Xerxes' shield system
caused the unknown vessel to explode. An unsuccessful attempt was made
to transport any life forms from the ship before it exploded. Sensor
logs later revealed there were never any life forms aboard to begin
with. Commander Maverick, Lt. Blazon, and Counselor Cole beamed over to
the Juun freighter to asses their damage and possibly get some answers.
After reviewing the sensor logs, Lt. Sarok discovered that the enemy
vessel was controlled remotely. Sarok was also able to ascertain the
source of the signal. Major Biraka, visited Lt. Masters in sickbay and
is currently taking a break on the holodeck.

DS 101
The respiratory illness plaguing the station has crossed species and
claimed one life. Humans, a joined Trill and Betazoids have been affected.
Protective measures have been stepped up. The station remains quarantined.
All efforts at a cure have failed. A freighter shipping medical robots the
size of quarks that may provide the answer was fired upon by a Dergrad
patrol and damaged, but was able to deliver the cargo. There is strong
suspicion that the virus is a form of sabotage.
