The Holy Spirit Choir (HSC) was organized on September 8, 1985 to be one of the resident choirs of the Ascension of Our Lord Parish, Lagro, Quezon City.  Since then, the group fastly rose to an enviable position it has rightfully earned through the years.  Just three years after its conception, the group won First Place in 1988 Columbian Competition and participated in major concerts of the parish, to which the group was never weakly applauded.  The public acclaim showered on the choir is an affirmation of the impact that this group of young choristers always leaves its audience. In 1996 the Holy Spirit Choir was also invited to become one of the newest members of the Philippine Federation of Choral Music under the abled leadership of the Honorary Chairman Professors of the UP College of Music.  Likewise, HSC was one of the official choirs who sang for  Pope John Paul II during the Xth World Youth Day Celebration Opening and Closing Liturgies. The HSC's main thrust is service to God and the community as expressed through worship and songs.  The present active members range from 15-25 persons, mostly young professionals and students coming from different colleges and universities around the metropolis.  Despite the present diversity of their professions, they, however, have one thing in common - the love of God and the love of music.   The choirmaster of the group is Danny "jojo" is an alumnus of the Philippine Madrigal Singers with Father Bernabe as the Spiritual Director of the group.
