Sasami Kawaii is Magical Project S' main character. She's friends with Misao and a very lively girl. She's the type who seems to enjoy activities. She was chosen as Tsunami's champion by Tsunami herself. Sasami was given a baton which allows her to transform into Pretty Sammy. She's reluctant at first to use her powers, but in the end she does her best as Pretty Sammy to defeat her enemies. Sasami also has an ally known Ryo-ohki. His job is to train and assist Sasami so that she'll be more successful as Pretty Sammy.
