THE FORGOTTEN TOMB OF THE DWARVES
FOR LEVEL 2 CHARCTERS
SOLO OR GROUP PLAY
INTRODUCTION
This Adventure Module may be played with 4 players (playing one Character of each class) and a referee, or it may be played by one player (playing 4 characters, one of each class) and no referee. The format below should be very simple.
This module is the first of a series of five wilderness adventure modules for Characters of Holiness Level 2. They can be played together as a campaign, or separate.
For those
who have played the three dungeon adventure series of modules, HQA1-3, this
module moves the campaign from the
Wilderness Adventure Modules are less linear and less defined than Dungeon Adventure Modules. Practically no descriptions are given. But first time Game Masters and those using these modules for solo play will not struggle at all. There is little to no difference in plains, forest and mountains of our world and a fantasy world, such as this Clash of the Empires Campaign Setting. So descriptions would be redundant.

THE QUEST
You are filing the first month’s report of the colony to your superiors. This is a crucial time; rumor has it His Imperial Majesty will soon be naming a Baron to administer these new lands. Then your work is interrupted as the representatives of the scouting guild contact your party.
Theleron, Emperor of Thanesreich, sends his greetings. He wishes to solicit your help (the Dwarves must really be desperate, as they are known to have “luciferian” pride, to the extent they would never ask help from Christians.
Undead have been plaguing their land, and they no longer have a force large enough to scout them out. Your party’s scout would be able to do it, and the might of your company is well known to the dwarves (particularly if you had succeeded in completing module HQA6).
This is either a trap or a sincere plea for help. Either way, you go.
THE JOURNEY
You will be traveling from Angeluum to the point on the Map marked THE FORGOTTEN TOMB OF THE DWARVES.

If the Adventuring Company encounters any Dwarves, they will then know Emperor Theleron’s plea is sincere. For the Dwarves they encounter are ordered no to attack them. While Dwarf soldiers resent this, out of fear of the Emperor and your mighty band, the obliged.
THE PINACLE
The ancient Dwarf Tombs consist of a large cavern with a stone mausoleum dominating the center. The Wight (W), Ghouls (G), and Zombies (Z) are marked on the map.
THE REWARD
In addition to receiving 2 ep for completing this adventure, you also receive the Gratitude of the Dwarf Emperor Theleron. This is a seed that may someday come to fruition.
